Since 1990, Pabalan Eye Center has provided Comprehensive Eye Care in our community, where superior Medical, Surgical, and Refractive eye care is integrated with high service Contact Lens and Spectacle care.
By having such a wide array of vision treatments available, we are able to recommend to you the best way to treat your particular vision needs, whether that is glasses, contacts, one of the many exciting new types of Vision Correction Surgery, or other excellent technologies. Our Optical department's mission is to excel at meeting our patients' needs and desires by emphasizing friendly and superior customer service, high quality eyewear, and protection for your eyes. » Frames and Lenses - Our new Optical offers a wide selection of quality frames, including the latest styles and fashions from designers like Silhouette, Gucci, Michael Kors and Caviar.
Our professional opticians will help you choose your best frame based on many factors, including face shape and width, eyebrow line, pupil alignment, and frame size, shape, and position. We offer the best in options, such as Transitions sunprotection and Crizal long-life antireflective coatings (guaranteed not to discolor or turn oily-looking like generic coatings) , and other protective measures, such as scratch resistance, high index, and polycarbonate lenses.
» Children's Eyewear -
Children will enjoy our kid-friendly frames lines including Barbie and Converse, while preteens gravitate to our Adidas, JLo and Marc Jacob offerings. Our opticians will patiently help you and your child choose frames that are fun, fashionable, and durable so your child will look forward to wearing them. Ask us about items especially helpful for children, including impact-resistance lenses, lighter/thinner lenses, spring hinges, scratch resistance lenses, and UV protection. We also offer complimentary frame adjustment.
» Contact Lenses - Our doctors and opticians will help you to decide between many of the latest contact lenses, such as toric contacts, disposable contacts, colored contacts, gas-permeable contacts, bifocal contacts, dry weather contacts specially designed for hot, dry environments, and bandage contacts applied for corneal diseases/inury.
» Keratoconus Contact Lenses - Special contact lenses and lens fitting techniques may be needed as this disease progresses. Keratoconus contact lens fitting requires special experience, lenses, and patience. Our doctors and opticians specialize in fitting high-tech lenses such as Synergeyes needed in Keratoconus.
» Sunglasses - UV rays have been linked to a number of eye diseases, including cataracts, eyelid cancer, and macular degeneration. Our doctors and opticians encourage you to protect your eyes from ultraviolet damage, especially in sunny Southern California. We offer a wide selection of sport and fashion sunglasses that will help block out harmful UV rays.
» Low Vision Aids - Vision may be reduced from Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, eye injury or inflammation, etc. Special low vision exams enable our doctors to evaluate your particular needs, and prescribe the most appropriate low vision aids for your lifestyle. We have available the full line of precision, German-engineered Eschenbach low vision aids, as well as video magnifiers.
» Accessories - Our optical department also offers many accessories for your eyewear, including complimentary fashion eyeglass cases with the purchase of glasses, and premium lens cleaners and cleaning cloths. Convenient UV-protecting sun clip-ons are available, as are jewelry chains for a fashionable way to keep track of your glasses.
